OUR KENNEL COMPLEXEMANI.
When looking for a prefix name we put down the first four names that Ian and I liked and couldn't think of a fifth one.Ian started arranging letters of both our names and came up with EMANI,meaning EM (for M for Margaret) AN (for and) I (for Ian) and of course we were given our fifth choice.10 years later came the Internet and we went to sign on for E-mail with Emani and found that we could not have that email address name, as it is a very common name used in India so hence we use emani_kennels.
Whilst surfing the net I came across Emani The Race on a site in America and found the description of the race of people calling themselves The Emani.After reading the description I think we stumbled on a fitting name for our kennels, as it describes the Boxer and Miniature Pinschers To Atee. (A name we have used in naming several of our Miniature Pinschers).

Emani believe themselves to be the embodiment of perfection, or at least as close as mortals can come to achieving that lofty goal. While some look down upon the other, lesser races, some try to assist the poor misguided fools.Even the lowest emani has an air of nobility about him. Many choose one or two skills to excel in, becoming the leaders and teachers of their field. Even those who do not master the arcane arts at least dabble in its mysteries.
HISTORY
In the beginning, whilst living in Sydney NSW I started my show career in 1970 with a Miniature Black Poodle male and a White Miniature Poodle bitch, Beau and Suzette. After several years I noticed I was getting dermitis from all the grooming, so both Beau and Suzette found themselves clipped off and became family pets.Moving to South Australia in the 1980's saw new additions to the home consisting of Rowdy, a smooth coat Chihuahua (not of show quality) who became my son Michael's pet and Stelchi Little Gem (Jenny), Bonito Bee-Jay (BJ) and Leedamar Tinkerbella, (Tinkerbell). Misfortune seemed to be the path of the Chihuahua's leaving us with only Jenny, who lived with us till the ripe old age of 17.Now residing in the Northern Territory with acreage, our first Boxer, a dark brindle and white male Stavinrek Sharis Blaise (Blaise) whelped August 1986. Blaise died of kidney failure at the age of 9 years with only limited show career.With the help of Liz Gunter of Guntop Boxers we aquired another show male a tan and white who became Australian Champion Liberline Pharao Ramses (Pharao) whelped August 1991. A great grandson of "Bobby" AM CH Salgray's Argo of Memorylane (Imp USA) imported by Guntop Boxers. Pharao was successfully campained to his title in September 1994. Winning 2 Best In Show's and 1 Runner Up In Show. His first Best In Show at 17 months. With many Group & Runner Up in Group awards aswell as classes in Group and In Show awards. Unfortunately Pharao was desexed at the age of 4 due to the removal of 2 lots of cancer. Pharao was still shown in desexed sweepstakes and continued his winning ways with 3 Best Desexed & 1 second place before cancer struck again and Pharao went to Rainbow Bridge in April 2000.April 1992 our kennels saw the addition of a beautiful deer red bitch Sehrgut Miss Nefertity (Mandy) whelped April 1992 with the best Boxer personality ever. We never pushed Mandy in the ring but she did gain 70 points towards her title.August 1992 again with the help of Liz Gunter, we gained Misty who was to become Australian Champion Woodlane Wilhemina a beautiful tan and white bitch. Daughter of AM CH Salgray's Argo of Memorylane (Imp USA) and Rosemullin Rainey. Misty gained her title in September 1994.Help again from Guntop Kennels we gained Woodlane Wild Winter (Casey)(whelped 1st December 1993) grandson of "Bobby". Casey although gaining Best Baby in Show 4 times, he does not really like the show ring and now in his 9th year is still sitting on 52 points towards his title with very limited showing. Casey was to become our first and main stud dog. His progeny and their offspring consistently having his lovely temperment, good mouth and movement. Casey's granddaughter Australian Champion Emani Grevillea Gal becoming our first home bred Boxer champion.Casey's daughter Bythunder Olympic Gold (Sally) whelped September 2000, is following in his footsteps winning Baby Puppy in Show on the 10th February 2001 under Dr. Levente Miklos (Hungary).1995 saw me spending several weeks with Liz and Miles at Guntop, learning more about Boxers and returning with additional luggage consisting of Guntop Valentino "Rudi" a brindle male and a "Bobby" grandson, also Guntop If You Please "Birdie" a very typey brindle bitch daughter of CH Guntop Black Tie N Tails [AI] "Dee Dee". Birdie gained her Australian Championship title in 1999. Aswell as 2 other Dee Dee daughters "Millie" Guntop Tittletat and "Molly" Woodlane Dark Desire.In 1995, we attained a beautiful brindle bitch (whelped February 1995) "Meagan" Juelle Soft as Velvet, who was a complete outcross from our American Lines. Meagan was all English & New Zealand import lines. Litter brother to this bitch Australian Grand Champion Juelle Jump Start gained Best of Breed Brisbane Royal 2000.June 1998 saw the birth of a very plain tan and white male Australian Champion Bythunder Sudden Impact "Bullet" out of Guntop Stockbroker [AI] from the top winning Best in Show Boxer American Champion Hightech Arbitrage. Bullet at the age of 7 months took his first Challenge with a Best of Breed under Brazilian judge Mrs. Leyea-Hias Norte Rebelo.At 16 months of age winning Runner Up in Group under Mrs. L. Buchanen. (QLD). 12 months from the date of receiving his first challenge points, Bullet went Best in Group and Intermidiate in Show under Mr. S. Sinko (SLOVNIJA). Bullet finishing his Australian title at exactly 2 years of age.Australian Champion Emani Grevillea Gal "Elsa" was born 22nd October 1998 became our first home bred Australian Champion. Elsa started her show career at the age of 6 months, winning Bitch Challenge at The Darwin Royal 1999 and repeating this again 2000. Her next show under Mrs. L. Buchanen (Q) winning Bitch Challenge, Runner UP Best of Breed, Puppy in Group and Puppy in Show. Elsa gained her Australian title at 22 months. Puppies from her first litter made their show debut in December 1999. From her last litter her son "Ralph" is now being shown in Alice Springs with some great wins at first first shows.
In July 1993 our first show Miniature Pinscher joined us, Australian Champion Agenor Smart Ms Demeanor "Demi" to keep our ageing Chihuahua Jenny company. Demi gained her Australian Championship title in March 1996.Tyson - Australian Champion Mindal Tipi To Atee (whelped January 1995) a beautiful red male, joined our team at the age of 16 months, I had had my eye on him for 12 months before the breeder agreed to part with him. His third show out with his new Mum, Tyson gained his Australian Championship title winning Best in Show, 1 month later at the Darwin Royal (1996) Tyson went Best in Group and Intermediate in Show under Mr. Michael Camac. (SA).Progeny from Tyson, have gained their Australian titles easily.August 1997 saw the birth of Australian Champion Tanilba Wot A Treat "Trudie". At her first show at just over 6 months of age she went Bitch Challenge & Runner Up Best of Breed, Minor Puppy in Show under Mrs. D. Zipperer (Q). Her comments being "This little bitch has been showing her head off all night" (it rained during the whole show). Puppies from matings between Tyson and Trudie, first litter: A lovely Black & Tan bitch Australian Champion Emani Lady Ebony "Meg" owned and very much loved by Ms. B. McLoughlin became our first Emani Australian Champion and Emani Lord Vader "Bart" sent to Geraldton (WA) owned by Mrs. A. Lorne, has done very well with several Runner Up in Groups and is half way to his title.Second litter produced Australian Champion Emani Lady Tashara "Feebie" & Emani Lady Tayesha "Toohie".New Years Day 2000 saw the birth of Tyson's half brother Australian Champion Mindal Tip N Tys To Atee "Mickey", a very rich red male similar to his half brother, gained his Australian Championship title at the age of 13 1/2 months.Australian Champion Palana Luv Em N Leave Em "Teddy" a red male, (whelped September 2000) his first show on New Years Eve going Baby Puppy in Group, this he has repeated at his next 5 shows. First show out as a Minor, Teddy took out Minor Puppy in Show under Mrs. R. Tassie (S) also going Puppy in Group and Best of Breed under Mr. R. Cleland (S). Teddy went Best Of Breed & Puppy In Group at The Darwin Royal 2001. Judge: Mr H Gent (N). Topping that win off with going Runner Up To Best Exhibit In Group at the Canine Expo Championship Show 4/8/2001 underMr P Odenkirchen (Canada). Teddy also winning Dog Challenge at the Perth Royal 2001.He gained his Australian Title under Canadian Judges Mr & Mrs Francis in March 2002.On 11th April 2001 CH Mindal Treasure To Atee (Treasure), CH Mindal Tysons Tornado (ToTo)& CH Mindal Tip N Tap (Trapper) were born, they are carrying the flag for their father "Tyson" Treasure was Baby Puppy In Show at her first outing, and Baby Puppy In Group at the Darwin Royal and before she turned 12 months of age had already won 2 Best Exhibit In Group and 2 Runner Up To Best Exhibits In Group, also Best Minor In Show & Best Puppy In Show.Trapper & Toto have each won Multi Best Exhibit in Groups so as not to be outdone by their sister Treasure.There were two other males in this litter one going to NSW and is an Australian champion and the other going to NZ who is proving to be a great sire and producing winning progency.On 6th April, 2003 Treausre & her new 3 month old babies Ellie (CH Emani Bold N Beautiful) & Harry (CH Emani Struttin His Stuff) competed at the NSW Miniature Pinscher Speciality, with Treasure taking out RUNNER UP TO BEST IN SHOW & OPEN IN SHOW, and Ellie taking out BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW. We were very proud of our min pins wins competeing with the best of miniature pinschers from all states of Australia.On 19th July, 2003 Harry wins RUNNER UP TO BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at 6 months and 8 days of age what a great way to win his first points towards his Australian title.On the way Harry has also won many Besat In Group and classes in Group.On 15th May, 2004 Ellie had to do one better than her brother Harry and Ellie won BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW, Ellie has won 5 BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP and 3 RUNNER Up IN GROUP as well and many class in Show and Group. Ellie was also AUSTRALIA'S TOP WINNING MINIATURE PINSCHER BITCH FOR 2004 (OzDog point score) and second overall.In 2005 we titled 5 of our show team of miniature pinschers and we are please that each of them has won BEST IN GROUP and a RUNNER UP IN SHOW during their show career to their Australian championship titles. We have also received great news of our puppies sent to show homes interstate and NZ . The NZ girl has now gained her NZ Championship title and two girl interstate their Australian championship titles. With 2 males well on their way with one in Qld winning Best In Group with strong competition.24th June 2006 saw Ellie give birth to 2 lovely girls by CH Mindal Tip N Tys To Atee "Mickey" both of whom we have kept to show.Emani Hidden Treasure "Jordan" and Emani Natural Beauty "Whitney".Jordan has been winning over her sister but time may tell a different story.Jordan has won so far 2 BEST BABY PUPPY IN GROUP.24th June 2006 saw CH Emani Lady Tashara whelp a lovely last litter to one of our chocolate males and we have kept a Black/Tan male Emani Impluse Decission "Jay" to show he also has to compete against Jordan and Whitney.6th January 2007 Ellie whelped her second litter 3 girls again to CH Mindal Tip N Tap and we are keeping to show all three . They will make their debut in the show ring in April. Emani Im A Qtee "Paris", Emani Iam A Treasure Too "Brittney" & Emani Wild N Bold "Beyonce.
