Jet's arrival to our household was one we will never forget.

The next morning whilst being taken for his walk he decided to go walkabout in the surrounding bushland.

We spent the next two weeks looking for him everywhere,

walking miles putting up posters.

The only Bloodhound in the Northern Territory and a German Shepherd tracked him for us, but alas we were unable to find him.

After two weeks of very little sleep we were just about to give up when we got a phone call from the local shop (6 klms from our home)

saying they had found him under their backhoe.

It was 2 weeks to the exact time that Jet went missing that we had him back.

Jet was rushed straight to the vets and given several injections and a check over and was allowed home.

Very much under weight and with the Darwin Royal only 10 days away we began the task to put the weight and condition back on him.

Not only was Jet looking good but he went Best Of Breed and the Judge commented that he was in wonderful condition for a "couch potato".

Jet's achievements:

Jet was already an Australian Champion when he joined us, and he was well on his way to

Grand Champion title when Jet decided he had had enough.

He was only shown in Australian Bred Class and gained:

4 RUNNER UP TO BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP

10 Australian Bred In Group.
